Topic Tags are a way to organize and group topics, created with Groups Forums plugin. They function as specific, descriptive keywords or phrases that help identify the content within a topic, making it easier for users to find related content.
- Go to Topics > Topic Tags in your WordPress dashboard.
- Click Add New.
- Enter at least the name (title) and, optionally, a description.
- Publish the topic tag.
Tip: Use the description field to provide guidelines or context for the topic tag.
Note: There’s no limit to the number of topic tags you can create.
Editing a Topic Tag
To update an existing topic tag:
- Go to Topics > Topic Tag.
- Click Edit on the topic tag you want to modify.
- Update the name, description as needed.
- Click Update.

Topic Tags appear in topic archives, use WordPress’s template system or create your own Topic Tag Archives template for advanced customization.
