Installation from your WordPress dashboard
This is the recommended way to install the plugin:
1. On your WordPress Dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New.
2. Search for “search live”.
3. And click Install Now for the Search Live plugin by itthinx -accept the confirmation message and proceed to activate-.
4. Activate the Search Live plugin from your WordPress Plugins menu. (Access your Installed Plugins menu to check it’s listed).
Installation using the plugin .zip file
To install the plugin, follow the steps outlined below.
1. Go to the Search Live plugin page here and use the link to the plugin’s zip file on that page under the Downloads heading.
2. Check that the search-live-x.y.z.zip file was correctly downloaded. If you’re using Safari and cannot get your zip file, access the General settings of the Preferences menu and untick the checkbox “Open safe files after downloading …”.
3. Go to Plugins > Add New on your WordPress Dashboard and click the Upload Plugin button.
4. Select the downloaded file.
5. Press the Install Now button and accept the confirmation message.
6. Activate the Search Live plugin from your WordPress Plugins menu (Access your Installed Plugins menu to check it’s listed).
Update
To update the plugin, use the automatic update process.
