Search Live is put to use very quickly by enabling its enhancements and deploying the search facilities it provides.
Once activated, the plugin automatically provides a replacement for the standard WordPress search form. Of course, this option can be disabled and you can use the plugin’s shortcodes and widgets instead.
General Settings
Description
When descriptions are shown, this option determines up to how many words will be included.
A description will be derived automatically from the start of a post if the manual excerpt is empty. The length is limited through this option in both cases
Standard Search Settings
Basic configuration options are available from the Settings button of your WordPress plugins page. And also from the menu of your WordPress dashboard, go to Search Live > Search Live.Search Form
Replace the standard WordPress search form
If enabled and where possible, the Search Live form replaces the standard WordPress search form.
