Official extensions for Groups
Enhanced functionality is available via official extensions for Groups. There are free and premium (providing paid updates and preferential support) extensions available:

- Groups Restrict Comments Pro allows to restrict who can post or read comments based on a user’s group membership.
- Groups Restrict Categories features access restrictions for categories, tags and other WordPress taxonomies, including support for custom post types and taxonomies.
- Groups WooCommerce is an extension for WooCommerce that allows you to sell unlimited and time-limited memberships with Groups – it also supports WooCommerce Subscriptions.
- Widgets Control Pro adds visibility management for widgets and sidebars to WordPress – in combination with Groups, these can be shown or hidden based on group memberships.
- WooCommerce Group Coupons is an extension for WooCommerce that uses groups and roles to limit the validity of coupons.
- WooCommerce Groups Newsletters is an extension for WooCommerce which requires Groups Newsletters to let customers subscribe to your site’s newsletters at checkout.
Free Extensions
The following extensions are freely available to be used with Groups:
- Groups 404 Redirect allows to redirect visits to pages that are protected by Groups.
- Groups bbPress protects bbPress forums, topics and replies using Groups.
- Groups Blog Protect restricts access to blogs based on group membership.
- Groups Forums Restricted restricts access to forum topics.
- Groups Notifications allows to send automatic notifications to group members and the site administrator.
